Weekend Getaway!

I am so ashamed of myself we went to Branson for the weekend and i forgot my camera! It was a tribute to farmers, had a bunch of John Deere stuff (there was other tractors too, but all I see is green and yellow... haha!), old farm equipment, a dairy milk cow (a jersey), they even had a little show where they talked about FFA and some of the cattle shows. It was fun! It was mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, Audrey, and I. As most of you know grandpa has been diagnosed with alzhiemer's and it has been quite a journey, and there is still so much more yet to come. This is the saddest thing, it has really started to wear on my grandma. But if you know my grandma you know she has not backed down from this challenge in her life. It is a true testament to see them. It is a show of the meaning through sickness and health for life. But back to Branson. I have included a picture of a butter sculpture. I was not able to capture the whole thing in my phone's camera, not to mention there was a lot of people. In the picture the cow is looking at a little lamb. The sculpture was just amazing.

What a nice post, Angie. You do have a very special grandma....I know how much both of them mean to all of you.

The butter display looked very neat. You know we are always interested in dairy things.

You need to come see our sweet, new baby sometime soon. He is already getting so big.

Love,
Your blogging Aunt

Sounds like a fun trip...why didn't you invite me? Just kidding! It does sound like something my bunch would enjoy though. Was it a one time thing or an annual thing?

Katie,

Angie is going to think she really drew in a crowd this time...with all of those deletes.
